Gelbrückenschwarzleguan???????

Hallo Leute,

hat jemand von Euch schonmal was von dem oben genannten Leguanen gehört oder gesehen??

Ich frage nur weil jemand den ich kenne meint das er sich davon zwei geholt hat.Angeblich würden sie nur 20cm 8o groß werden,bräuchten nur ein miniterra,und außer ne UV leuchte keine bestimmten Strahler????

Kann das jemand bestätigen oder widerlegen????

Frage mich nur,weil ich mir ein wenig Sorgen mache ob die Tiere dort richtig gehalten werden????
Kann man die überhaupt kaufen??????

Ctenosaura flavidorsalis (Kohler and Klemmer, 1994)

Once considered the species C.quinquecarinata, these Ctenosauras from eastern Guatemala, eastern San Salvador, to south west and central Honduras were re-classified in 1994 as C.flavidorsalis. These small iguanas are generally brownish tan in color with males having a high degree of yellow suffused with black dorsally. Recorded snout / vent lengths are around 160 cm (6 3/8 inches). Females are probably a little shorter. An inhabitant of tropical dry forests and subtropical dry forests, its diet is made up of small leaves and insects.

Justification: Ctenosaura flavidorsalis has an extent of occurrence less than 5,000 km2 and an area of occupancy less than 500 km2. The population is estimated at perhaps less than 2,500 mature individuals, probably occurring in around 20 isolated subpopulations. Habitat is severely fragmented and is declining in area and quality. The species is also hunted locally for its meat. The population has declined by at least 20% (perhaps even more than 50%) over the last 50 years. With current rate of habitat loss, the population is expected to decline by at least 30% over the next ten years.

Population: Total population size is not known, but perhaps is less than 2,500 mature individuals. The population has declined by at least 20%, and perhaps by more than 50%, over the last 50 years.
Habitat and Ecology: Tropical dry forest and subtropical dry forest formations (Holdridge 1967) from 35–1,010 m asl. The species is mostly terrestrial with rocky terrain being the preferred habitat. Crevices and holes are used as retreats.
Threats: Habitat is fragmented and is decreasing in area and quality due to deforestation and regular burning of habitat. The species is also harvested locally for its meat.
Conservation Measures: This species currently is not under any legal protection and is not known to occur within any protected areas. Conservation actions recommended include further surveys for the species, research into genetics and life history, management and monitoring of the wild population and its habitat.


Soweit mein Englisch reicht, scheint es eine aussterbende Spezies zu sein. Herr Köhler hat die Art wohl 2004 auf die ROTE LISTE gesetzt.

Ob das nun der gleiche Leguan ist, wie in dem Shop?

Hi, war schon im natürlichen Habitat der Tiere (La Paz/Honduras).

Die Tiere brauchen genau die gleiche Beleuchtung wie unsere Grünen.
Terr mindestens 100x100x100.

Gesamtlänge bis ca 25-27cm (KRL 17cm)

Trockener als unsere Grünen.
